Looking for a crew (2-4 people) to clean after private family events for a venue in Lomita, CA. Spanish and English speaking preferred. Cleaning to be conducted at the end of each event (starting around midnight) and schedule depends on when we have an event - At times there may be two events per evening, with 2-4 events each month.
$250 per event (sometimes more, depending on the event). We will provide all the cleaning equipment. A team of two can clean a hall in 3 hours, which will become faster once it becomes routine. On occasion, our renters help and it will take you less than an hour, but you will still get paid the same!
A typical night may look like:
- 11:30pm: Prep materials, light cleaning (picking up around banquet hall and parking lot)
- 12:00am: Sweep, sanitize and disinfect floors
- 12:30am: Wipe down, collapse and put away 20-30 plastic tables and 200 metal chairs
- 1:00am: Clean bathroom/kitchen, assess for damages, spot clean mirrors, dispose trash
2 people @ 3 hours/hall = $41.67/hour
All applications should have:
- Experience as a cleaner or similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- 18 or older, Driver's license and reliable mode of transportation
- Ability to be on your feet majority of your shift
- Friendly personality, honest and hardworking
- Integrity and good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of all health and safety regulations
