It was Dr. Fauci who told the nation “This is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something that the citizens of the United States should be worried about right now.” Does it surprise you that Trump also initially stated covid wouldn't be a big problem? If you can't see the correlation between the two's statements then you're suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. As we've seen over the past year even those countries that shutdown sooner than us, had their populations shelter in place, wear masks and wash regularly with hand sanitizer all suffered equally if not more deaths per capita than we did and continue to. WHO nearing the end of last year announced sheltering in place and masks did more harm than good therefore there was nothing anyone in the world could have done they weren't already doing that would have made a significant difference. If you don't believe the "science" then you're suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. You are right Trump spent billions and removed the traditional red tape to have a vaccine developed in record time about 6 months that has proven to be 95% effective faster & better than any other nation which you should be applauding him for but instead you are using as a whip against him. This confirms you're suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. Trump did everything humanly possible answered every state's plea and provided all that was necessary to treat and get past the pandemic which you're unable to acknowledge because you're suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. From your post it's clear you're the one who's unbridled hatred of Trump makes you a deranged, delusional person because if you think Trump could have said or done anything else that he didn't do would have caused better results you're kidding yourself but not the rest of us. In love fairness the pandemic is not Trumps fault. Trump did not cause the pandemic. But trump did exacerbate the situation. Trump failed to protect Americans against the virus. Trump knew the virus was real. Why else would he shut down air travel from Asia? But Trump lied to us and said the pandemic was “no worsethan the flu”. Trump knew the pandemic was real, he even claimed to have it himself. Trump knew the pandemic was real, he was first in line to get the vaccine. Trump knew the pandemic was real, he spent billions of taxpayer dollars trying to develop a vaccine. It is a deranged, delusional person who says one thing and does another. We must not forget that Trump is mentally ill. He lives in a different reality than most of us do. This has been proven countless times by Trumps own words and behavior.
