Position Overview The Sexton will manage the ongoing maintenance, repair and cleaning of the building and grounds of the Unitarian Universalist Community of Charlotte (UUCC). This role ensures that the UUCC can provide a clean and welcoming environment to our members, visitors and staff and address any general maintenance and cleaning issues that arise in a timely manner. Must be able to work independently while also providing general support to staff and volunteers when using the building and grounds. Some technical knowledge is needed to answer and respond to maintenance and cleaning requests and to report the need for maintenance and repair supplies. Reports to the Director of Administration and works collaboratively with UUCC Staff, Open Door School, and volunteers.
