If interested, apply at Paragon FMS is hiring Lead Facilities Technicians to represent our company and perform work for top-tier clients at their place of business throughout central Florida. We perform facility maintenance services for warehouses and commercial settings inside the facility as well as facility grounds. JOB DESCRIPTION: Supply the existing facilities with the skills and craftsmanship necessary to maintain the structural integrity of the buildings including the infrastructures, equipment, and building grounds. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Understand and execute requests from the company’s work order system. - Prepare clear and comprehensive reports detailing the actions conducted to close work orders. - Support and take direction from the Client/ Facility Supervisor to ensure the satisfactory completion of complex installations and repairs. - Operate mobile equipment (Forklifts, High Lifts, etc.) - Perform drywall, stucco, painting, and minor cosmetic repairs. - Conduct basic carpentry, mechanical, and electrical repairs. - Read and interpret building drawings, electrical schematics, and other technical documents related to facility maintenance. - Repair windows, doors, door locks, and cabinet locks. - Perform furniture moves as needed, and assist in the setting up and breaking down of furniture for meetings and assembly functions. - Perform disassembly, relocation, and assembly of modular furniture systems. - Maintain HVAC system, compressors, and other building systems. - Maintain building grounds, fences, and gates. - Perform other such duties as may be required. - Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures - Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems in the building - Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures. - Create and closeout work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used - Maintain positive working relationships across all job sites and facilities - Develop training plans for service technicians - Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets - Move up to 50lbs - Stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation - Lead Maintenance Technician programs and organizes a team of technicians actively involved in various craft specialties. - Give support to supervisors with regards to accomplishing tasks while referring uncommon personnel or technical issues to the supervisor. - Offer suggestions for performance evaluation; oversee the duties of designated crew members. - Carry out diverse skilled activities involving the repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities; designate and monitor the work of personnel in order to achieve the completion of diverse tasks in relation to building and construction. - Fabricate, construct, and repair district appliances and facilities, such as metal and wood structures, furniture, and equipment facilities. - Arrange exterior parts for varnishing and painting, and apply surface cover ups as necessary. - Carry out diverse heating, plumbing, and refrigeration related tasks. - Assemble, cut, thread, and lay pipes while also offering assistance in the repair, installation, maintenance, and purchase of various heating, plumbing, and air-conditioning fixtures. - Carry out metal and welding; perform diagnosis and repairs on electronic ignition systems for furnaces and heaters, as well as for hot water heaters. - Guarantee adherence to safety practices and principles, and to the relevant Federal, State, and Local codes. - Work with diverse machines and equipment, such as hand and power tools, and drill presses saws in carrying out maintenance and repair tasks. - Ensure the maintenance of equipment and tools in a clean, secure, and appropriate working condition. - Engage in thorough troubleshooting to replace or repair fans and motors, bells, clocks, and lighting circuits, as well as audiovisual and communication equipment. - Engage in diverse skill activities such as repairs of roofs, doors, windows, and other building components. - Make an estimate of the cost of labor and items needed for work orders; acquires competitive prices for supplies and equipment required by the district. BASIC EXPERIENCE: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. 5+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls 3. 5+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and industrial electronics 4. 5+ years of experience conducting preventative & procedure-based maintenance 5. 5 + years of experience reading blueprints and schematics 6. 3+ years of work order management TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: Must have a work truck or work transportation (We compensate vehicle and miles) Must have basic work tools along with basic power tools JOB TYPE: Full-time/Contract If interested, apply at
