This workshop will cover milestones & categories of development, and provide tips and resources for supporting a child’s development.
Ready or not, our kids are growing and developing. Every child develops at their own pace and milestones give us a general idea of when to expect certain skills to develop. Acting early can make a difference! In this workshop, we’re going over the basics. We’ll talk about what are milestones, define the domains (categories of development), provide resources for supporting a child’s development, and share tips on what to do if there are concerns.
Feel free to bring your own dinner or have one of the boxed sandwiches provided to registered participants.
This workshop is presented by PEATC and brought to you by Hampton Roads Developmental Screening Initiative of UWSHR and the YMCA Chesapeake.
