Job description Thank you for your interest in a Lawn Care Technician position. For 30 years, we have been providing homeowners with safer alternatives for their lawn care and pest control needs. Technicians operate out of a building in Delran, NJ (right off Rt130) handling residential customers in Hunterdon, Somerset, Mercer, Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, and Salem Counties. The available position is for a lawn care technician. New lawn care technicians are trained to complete all of our secondary service offerings. These include Tick Control, Mosquito Control, Perimeter Pest Control, and Seeding Services. There is also an opportunity to be trained as a Field Service Specialist for the right candidate. Field Service Specialists have a designated area that they work in every day completing fertilizer applications. We have placed a priority on safety. Serious candidates should be prepared to discuss their contributions towards maintaining and promoting a safe workplace. Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 6:30a-3p. We don't work weekends because we want you to have a life outside of work. Time and a half is paid if there ever is a need for overtime. Starting in August, a select group of service techs will be eligible for 10-15 hours of overtime weekly, still without having to work weekends. After 60 days, employees are offered health benefits. After 90, PTO time begins to accrue. And after 1 year of employment, enrollment into our 401k program is offered. Pilquist Enterprises is a drug-free workplace. Applicants with DUI's, at-fault accidents, and/or speeding tickets within the last 3 years may not be eligible for the position. You must have reliable transportation. Public transportation is not available for the hours of this position. Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs or more consistently throughout the workday.
