Join Tiffany for Beausoleil Storytime. She will be reading The Runaway Beignet by Connie Morgan. Recommended for Ages 3-8. Following in her grandmother's footsteps, Tiffany Croom loves to bring joy to the community through children's storytelling! She started young, performing in her church for the children of the congregation. In high school, she competed in Storytelling for the Missouri State High School Activities Association where she was a 3-time State Qualifier and District Champion and designated assembly performer (in exchange for all her cool points). She found her calling in life as a teacher where she has worked with students from preschool to high school age in Drama, English, Speech, Debate, and Soccer over the course of 16 years. To mix things up, she also worked in the summer camp and youth soccer industries. She now dedicates her time to serving schools through SchoolMint, an Education Technology company who recently relocated to Lafayette from San Francisco. In her free time she loves reading and startling her pup with her random voices. Join us on Sunday, July25 at 12:30 to experience Tiffany's Storytime at Beausoleil Books. In this confectionary folktale adaptation, a lonely baker gets his wish when he sprinkles magic sugar on a beignet and it comes to life. The little beignet boy runs away but is in danger of being eaten by the hungry people of New Orleans. He leads a wild chase through the French Quarter, visiting famous sights along the way.
