Fire alarm helper will:
1. Assist the lead fire alarm technician in conducting inspections by walking job site.
2. Controlling the fire alarm panel during the inspection while communicating with the lead technician during the inspection.
3. Learning fire alarm systems.
Job requires the ability to:
1. Walk extended periods of time.
2. Lift up to 70lbs.
3. Climb ladders and work with a lift on occasion.
4. Working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceiling tiles etc.
5. Exhibit effective customer service skills.
6. Attention to detail a must.
7. Follow verbal and written instructions.
8. Read and generate fire alarm reports.
9. Assist with fire alarm service calls and repairs.
10. Perform other duties assigned.
Attend training classes when offered.
Must take the 14-hour class for the FASA permit.
