Join us for Archaeology Day at the Ten Broeck Mansion! Meet an archaeologist, join a mini-tour, and create a map of long-lost features. Join us as we explore and celebrate archaeology at the Ten Broeck Mansion! Meet an archaeologist, take a mini-tour of our site to learn about our longstanding archaeological program, and create your own map of long-lost features. Learn about the equipment and techniques that archaeologists use, and how years of study have transformed our understanding of the history of the Ten Broeck Mansion. Archaeologist booth open from 10 am - 1 pm for drop-in visits. Sign up for mini-tours (20 minutes) to visit archaeological features on our grounds. Middle school and teens will find the mini-tours the most engaging, but all ages welcome. Comfortable walking shoes recommended. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Program is free for families. Archaeologist presentation donated by Hartgen Archaeological Associates.
