Join us August 28th (in person!) at Horizon Convention Center. We'll have some fun and raise money for the Soup Kitchen of Muncie. The year 2020 was one of unprecedented events. Like people all over the world, we adjusted to the “new normal” of mask-wearing and social distancing. For the Soup Kitchen of Muncie, this meant adapting the way we served our community. Meal service went to carry-out only and volunteers were kept to a minimum to ensure the safety of our volunteers and the community we serve. Unfortunately, being socially distant also meant cancelling our 10th Annual Dinner and Auction. Many of our sponsors graciously agreed to help us with our mission despite the changing circumstances. As a result, we were able to continue providing hot, nutritious meals to those in need. Now a year into this pandemic, we are ready to celebrate! Please join us on August 28, 2021 at the Horizon Convention Center for our Annual Dinner and Auction! Founded in 1994, the Soup Kitchen of Muncie is a non-profit, non-sectarian soup kitchen that serves those in need of food in Muncie, Indiana and the Delaware County Community. We serve a hot meal and a sack dinner to guests Monday through Friday, 9:30-11:00am, and in 2019 provided  70,000 meals to the hungry.
