TPI will start showing occasional trans- and advocacy-related films. Join us as we kick off this part of our work! Come join us August 14 as we open our space to show the film Tangerine, starring Kitana Kiki Rodriguez and Mya Taylor! We have some snacks and refreshments, and there is a brewery in the building for those who would like craft beer. We plan to have a short discussion after the film for those who want to participate. TPI will open at noon, and we welcome you to drop by early! We will monitor mask recommendations and may require attendees to wear masks, especially if any attendees are immunocompromised or have other risk factors. It is our work to keep everyone safe! For this reason, film attendees will be limited to 25. Trans Pride Initiative empowers trans and gender nonconforming persons to rise above social barriers to equal healthcare, housing, employment, and education.
