We have a dog boarding and doggie daycare place in NW Reno, near Robb & Mae Anne. We are busy and need kennel assistants, and also office support on Fridays and weekends. Typical shifts are 6:30 am --1:00pm, and 1:00pm--6:30 pm, but we try to be flexible. The environment is pretty fast-paced. There's considerable responsibility (we're talking about peoples' dogs), and always something to be doing. Not a job for people that wait for the work to come to you. You need a willingness to work on a team, willingness to communicate with teammates, humility (dogs are dogs, you know) and willingness to learn. Office & Kennel support: take phone & email reservations, check dogs in and out, work in the computer, process payments, prepare meals, clean up occasional messes. Kennel people: take in dogs, walk them, clean rooms, mop/clean messes, give dogs back to owners, occasional dog baths, and yes, give them attention!
