Description

We are looking for "skilled hands" to work on residential and commercial upgrade and maintenance projects. You'll work to tackle a variety of tasks including demo/deconstruction, building, reassembly etc. We have 6 months of projects to complete already in hand with more to come! Project Types • Demo/tear outs • Framing/sheathing • Interior Insulation/Air sealing • Drywall hanging and finishing • Painting • Tile work • Flooring • Doors/Windows • Kitchen Cabinet/Bathroom vanity setting • Finish carpentry/trim • Exterior stone • Finish Plumbing/Electrical • Installing windows, doors • Tear off and installation of roofing products Skills/Experience Desired: • 2+ years of construction/handyman/maintenance experience. • Conceptual understanding of building mathematical formulas. • Ability to calculate rise and run, sq ft etc. • Ability to calculate building materials needed while minimizing waste. • Ability to proactively anticipate challenges, future needs and calendar management. • Ability to work independently • Willingness to travel up to 3 hours one way with some overnights away from home • Effective communication, change management and conflict management skills (zero drama or workplace dysfunction) Must have active driver’s license and reliable transportation. Having your own set of personal tools is desired. Team tools will be provided for larger projects. Up to full time hours available. Compensation $20-25/hour, paid weekly/taxes withheld. Will consider 1099 status if you have your own Company set up to do so.
