North Omaha's newest trail is being designed right now. We're excited to hear your thoughts and show you what some of the initial ideas are! RDG Planning & Design will host an open house event for the Beltline Trail project in Omaha, Nebraska on Wednesday, July 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. The open house will be held at the North Omaha Design Lab at 2516 N 24th Street and offer community members the chance to provide input as well as hear updates on the progress of the project. RDG is working with the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District (Papio NRD) and Ehrhart Griffin & Associates on design for the trail. The Beltline Trail is a proposed bicycle and pedestrian trail moving along the relinquished rail corridor in North Omaha. The route for the Beltline Trail is set to begin at the intersection of Military and Hamilton Streets and continue northeast until it reaches the North Omaha Transit Center.
