Tony's Coffee is a quality-focused family-run company that has been roasting coffee in Bellingham since 1971 and was recently named the 2021 Macro Roaster of the Year by Roast Magazine. Our award winning coffees are sold throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We are currently looking to expand our team and are hiring for a full time packaging/maintenance position in our production warehouse. This is a fast paced, physical job that requires significant attention to detail and self-motivation. This person will be responsible for operating and maintaining our automated packaging machine. Maintenance and mechanical experience strongly preferred. Primary tasks include but are not limited to: daily calibration, diagnostics/repairs, record keeping, and operation. This person will report to the Production Manager. Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7am-5:30pm (4/10’s) Other daily responsibilities include: - Prepping station for packaging - Sealing/boxing bags of coffee - Prioritizing various orders throughout the week - Palletizing and wrapping orders for shipment - Stocking supplies - General upkeep of the Production warehouse Qualifications: - Previous experience in machine maintenance strongly preferred. - Must be able to work for several hours unattended - Self-motivated, quick problem solver, & likes to work in a fast-paced environment - Works well in a strong team environment - Able to maintain attention to detail without disrupting work flow - Previous warehouse experience strongly preferred - Ability to drive forklift preferred - Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis - Ability to stand, swoop, bend, and reach throughout the day - Excellent communication skills – written and spoken - Must have reliable transportation - Be able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a positive outlook Starting wage: $16.50/hour DOE –Full time position with benefits. Benefits include vacation and sick pay. Profit sharing after six months. Health benefits available after 60 days.
