Do you want to learn more about your Italian American family? Come take our class October 9th at the Italian American Cultural Center of IA. Do you have a family story that has been passed down and you want to find out if it is true? Come take our class at the Italian American Cultural Center of Iowa and learn how to prove or disprove your family lore. The class will cover what local, state, US and Italian records are available for your Italian American family and how to find them. Instructors Kathy Foggia and Jari Chiodo Sinnwell will lead the class. For more information please contact [email protected]. Participants should follow directional signage to the delivery entrance. In addition to our educational museum, the Center offers a variety of opportunities for individuals as well as groups to take part in programs and events at the Center. Classes in language, cooking and folk dancing are offered on a regular basis. Italian travel and cooking videos are shown as well as Italian movies. Group tours are encouraged.
