Join us the the end of Summer STEAM Picnic! Join us for the end of camp party! We'll bring the food and drinks. You bring your family with chairs, blankets and other things to make you comfy at the park.! We will conduct one more engineering feat! Students (and family members :-D) will build a bottle rocket! We ask that each person bring their own 2 liter bottle and we'll bring the decorations and the launchers! (see the video below) Come out and have fun in the sun! We hope to see you there! The mission of the Engineer Factory is to increase the number of students from underrepresented populations (i.e. girls and people of color) that pursue higher education and careers as Engineers. This is accomplished through project-based learning, participation in engineering competitions, academic support, providing technical assistance to educators, exposure and linkages to the engineering industry, mentoring, strategic alliances and partnerships with engineering-related programs and scholarships.
