General Labor/Plastic Sorter 3rd Shift 10PM-6AM Waller TX 11.50$ - $12.50 HR POSITION SUMMARY: The Sorter is responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials so that outbound commodities are acceptable for sale to various brokers or mills. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Sort and segregate recoverable materials (plastic,.) from incoming waste. • Deposit recoverable materials safely and efficiently into the appropriate chute. • Assist other sorters on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items. • Follow all Company safety policies and procedures, including stopping the conveyor belt in emergency situations. •Inspect incoming loads for unacceptable waste; remove unacceptable items as required. • Communicate with equipment operators regarding incoming loads of special waste or other loads that require special attention. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous experience working in a Recycling Facility sorting recyclable materials. Glass Framer Production Worker (SW Houston) Morning Shifts $11.00-13.00 HR 6AM - 3:30PM Mon- Fri w/ some Saturdays Bilingual English/Spanish Order Selector 2nd shift for our NW (Freezer) Warehouse- PAY-RATE: $13.50-15.00 hr Hours 1:30 pm -Finish Full-Time The candidate will demonstrate expertise in Forklift operating, stocking, receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, quality control and updating computer systems and orders and may perform other duties in the warehouse as required. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Fast-paced learner Clean Background Mechanical Assembler I-Assembler II for Tractor Company 1st & 2nd Shift Location: NW Houston Pay Rate: $13-$15.50/hr. This person will be reporting to the Production Supervisor and will also follow directions from Production Manager for daily operations. Position will mainly entail, but not be limited to the following tasks: · Perform activities in assembly functions · Perform assembly and material movement functions · Follow production schedules & communicates with supervisor · Receive instructions from production supervisor and from operations on the production plan · Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements · Inventory control and cycle counts · Must be able to lift 65-75 lbs. · Must have knowledge of hand tools · Must have knowledge Crane Operation · Maintain a clean working environment REQUIREMENTS: Experience in the following elements required: · Must be at least 18 years or older · Must be able to read, write, and speak English · High school diploma or GED required · Have 1 year of previous assembler experience on a production floor · Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred · Work involves physical demands typically found in a manufacturing environment, such as but not limited to prolonged standing, bending, lifting and/or moving materials Material Handler I for Tractor Company- Parts Department 1st & 2nd Shift Location: NW Houston Pay Rate: $11-$13.50/hr. The Material Handler/Forklift Operator is responsible for the moving and storage of finished goods and raw materials as well loading product per customer orders. Will power wash tractors and provide assist in other parts of production as needed. This person will be reporting to the Production Supervisor and will also follow directions from Production Manager for daily operations. Position will mainly entail, but not be limited to the following tasks: · Remove finished goods / raw materials from or to production lines and place in warehouse or production · Responsible for maintaining forklift equipment · Adheres to all work instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, and housekeeping procedures · Load / unload trailers · Power wash tractors as needed after leaving production floor to prepare for final inspection prior to shipping out. · Maintain clean and orderly warehouse · Responsible for the accuracy of all transactions and product scanning · Load finished goods for shipment to customers with industrial truck/material handling device · Responsible repairing any damage units · Responsible for maintaining ISO standards · Responsible for reporting safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action · Performs other duties and/or completes training as required by Supervisor. Serve as backup to other shift supervisors as needed. · Ensure inventory control through proper accounting of materials consumed during production and repair activities. · Promote a clean, safe and efficient work environment. · Lead improvement initiatives (5S, operational efficiency, FIFO, etc) · Ensure daily audits of equipment are being done and issues found are resolved in a timely manner · Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures, incident management and reporting. REQUIREMENTS: Experience in the following elements required: · Excellent communication skills to converse with employees, upper management, dealers and vendors in person and via phone and email. · Ability to read, to write, and to speak English language fluently. (Spanish is a plus) · Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supervision · Excellent problem resolution skills. · Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word Programs, (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). SAP experience a plus. · Ability to multitask in a fast-paced distribution environment. · Proven leadership, coaching / mentoring and team-oriented mindset · Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to apply sound judgment · Must be able to lift and hold up to 50lbs unassisted. · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is repeatedly required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for long periods of the day.
