Description
The Teen And Police Service Academy is hosting a Public Service Leadership Camp next week, July 19th - 23rd, 9 am to 5 pm.
In this camp students aged 11-17 will learn leadership modules (following the Scout curriculum) and meet civic leaders, tour Houston City Hall (campers in the past have met Mayor Turner), private tour of Houston Police headquarters including meeting with a Chief, tour a Harris County courtroom with a sitting judge, and so much more.
This camp will also have a special emphasis on public speaking with presentations by city councilmen, former HPD Chiefs, full university professors, and legal professionals.
Enrollment is $200 per youth and includes all meals, snacks, entrance fees into venues, and transportation.
