Chef versus Chef BBQ Cook-off to raise funds for Greenville Tech’s Hospitality Student Association. You decide the winner—$15 per plate! Buy your ticket to this exciting BBQ cook-off to support Greenville Tech’s Culinary Institute of the Carolinas (CIC) Hospitality Student Association. Chef Austin Craft from CIC and Chef Bill Twaler from Greenville Tech’s brand-new Truist Culinary & Hospitality Innovation Center (CHI) will go rib to rib in this competition for top chef. All proceeds will go to benefit CIC hospitality students with educational opportunities outside the classroom, helping them invite guest speakers, take educational field trips and more. Your vote decides the winner in this barbecue battle royale! For just $15 per plate, you’ll get a judging plate with two ribs and two pulled pork sliders (one from each chef), plus tea and a variety of incredible side dishes prepared with help from culinary students at the Culinary Institute of the Carolinas. During the event, you’ll also be able to purchase beer brewed especially for this cook-off by CHI’s next-door neighbor, Carolina Bauernhaus! Tickets are limited and will sell out quickly!
