Monday - Friday, 9am-12pm AGES: 11-13 Pricing $260/ individual $230/ sibling (2 or more) $50 deposit is paid on Eventbrite EACH SESSION:Monday - Friday, 9am-12pm or 1-4pmAGES: 11-13Pricing$260/ individual $230/ sibling (2 or more) $50 deposit is paid on eventbrite and remaining balance is paid on first day of session Class size: 5 studentsJoin us for a week of fun, new friendships, and lots of sewing!  Instructors Amanda Shaffer and Jocelyn Dimaya share their love of sewing by teaching basic hand sewing and how to operate a sewing machine. By the end of camp, students will be confident in making creative projects all on their own! Class includes: -Use of sewing machines, tools, fabric, and other materials -Summer sewing t-shirt. -Multiple take home projects created in class  Day 1: Hand Sewing Techniques Learn to Cut Patterns Hand sew felt pin cushion/magnet Day 2: How to Use a Sewing Machine Day 3, 4 & 5: We will work on bigger projects including a zipper pouch or scrunchie and: Week 1 (7/5-7/9) Pajama Shorts and Pillow Week 2 (7/12-7/16) Tote Bag Week 3 (7/19-7/23) Dyeing Fabric and Sewing Accessories (Week 3 will work a little different that the others. Monday we will be dyeing all of our fabric so make sure your student comes in clothing that can get a little messy) COVID-19 SAFETY: The safety of our students and their families are our highest priorty. Each student will have their own sewinging machine and tools to use which will be sanitized before and after each use. Along with our smaller class sizes, face masks will also be required to help prevent the spread of any illness. The Studio offers both sewing and creative workshop for all ages. Instructors Amanda Shaffer and Jocelyn Dimaya teach both private and group sewing classes. The Studio brings in different makers to teach workshops every month such as woodworking, painting, calligraphy, and so much more.
