Well established landscape company seeks dependable FT Irrigation Technician, mostly for NW Phoenix area. * Wage range: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Premium pay for very experienced irrigators. * Sign on bonus of $400-$800 depending on experience level proven during 1st week of employment (paid out 1/2 after 30 days, 2nd 1/2 after 60 days, with on-time daily attendance). * Company Vehicle and Company cell phone provided for daily business use only. * Paid every Friday for previous week. * Referral bonuses available for referring new employees to company Functions & Duties: - Inspect and repair irrigation systems on multiple jobsites - Perform regular system tests to ensure good condition, efficiency and proper coverage - Repairs & replacements include all heads & emitters, valves, main & lateral lines, wires & valve boxes - Adjust watering schedules to seasonal & climate requirements - Communicate conditions & challenges to supervisor; recommend repairs & improvements - Create and log field work orders for all billable and non-billable repairs & replacements Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of experience in Irrigation Systems’ Repairs, Maintenance & Management - Possession of a clean & acceptable Arizona driver’s license - Customer service skills (communication & follow-through with tasks and promises made) - Time management skills & discipline - Ability to work alone and as a team member - Bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus - Arizona Landscape Contractors Association (ALCA) Irrigation Certifications are a plus Company participates in E-Verify and is a drug & alcohol-free, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer that welcomes all qualified applicants.
