DESCRIPTION: ○ Full-time, experienced screen printer with flexible total weekly hours needed. ○ Main duties will be screen printing and assisting production, and we provide training for Direct-to-Garment printing as well. This position will involve both. ○ We’re a growing company and will likely need more and more hours as we move forward, but this will fluctuate. Could be 40 hrs with some overtime hours, or as low as 30 hours. ○ Currently, we need 40 hrs/wk. ○ Production typically starts at 7am ○ Pay starts at $15 to $20+, depending on skills, experience, and efficiency. ABOUT US: Acme is a mid-size (1 MHM auto, 1 Anatol Auto, 2 Workhorse manuals, and 1 Roq automatic arriving in the next couple months) commercial screen printing shop. We're a growing, 15-year-old company looking for a great person to help us keep production… well, productive, and help move us forward. www.acmeprints.com QUALIFICATIONS: ○ MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL SCREEN PRINTING EXPERIENCE PRINTING APPAREL. Sorry, no ‘fast learners’ for this position. Previous employers will be contacted. ○ Must be flexible with total weekly hours. 30-40+ ○ You must be able to quickly & efficiently set up and print complex jobs on manual presses, and already know how to troubleshoot problems like dye-migration, fibrillation, etc. ○ Experience on automatic presses is a huge plus. ○ Experience on Direct-to-Garment machines is a huge plus. ○ Experience with 4 color process, discharge & other specialty inks a plus. ○ Must be extremely detail-oriented and have a great eye for quality printing. ○ Must understand the basic mechanics of most screen printing equipment. ○ The willingness & desire to figure out what needs to be done on ANY project given to you without requiring your hand to be held. ○ A genuine interest in giving people a great product. ○ A positive outlook and attitude. No jerks, please. ○ Highly motivated, reliable, and productive. ○ We have a great atmosphere here and we enjoy ourselves, but expectations on quality & efficiency are high. If you have experience in this industry, you know that it is fast-paced and we need to be as efficient as possible. Great attention to detail is a must. ○ Must speak, read, and write fluently in English. Other languages are a bonus. ○ Must be legal to work in the United States. CENTRAL DUTIES: ○ Printing on manual and auto. ○ Assisting the Production team with staging goods, counting out, QC, etc, whenever needed. ○ Uphold productivity and strict quality standards. ○ Communicating clearly with account reps and production manager about questions or issues. ○ Updating tasks in our shop management software ○ Basic maintenance. ○ Keep work area very neat & organized.
