Description
Family-friendly event celebrating things Wyatt loved most – fun, friends and family, food, and CARS! All proceeds to Super Sam Foundation. Wyatt’s Warriors Car Cruise and Carnival is in honor of our fallen cancer warrior, Wyatt Salmons. This family-friendly event celebrates some of the things Wyatt loved most – fun with friends and family, food, and cars! All proceeds will be donated to Super Sam Foundation to assist in their fight for All the Kids through awareness, advocacy, research and direct support to families struggling with childhood cancer. Together, we can do more. #forallthekids #becauseWy Actually, not just cars. ALL vehicles are welcome, in every stage. Have a hot rod to wow the crowd? Let’s see it! Got a “someday” project on a trailer? Show us what you’re workin’ with! Wyatt loved a best-in-show, but also appreciated all the work that goes into getting a project done. Motorcycles, military vehicles, resto-mods, trucks, and all the in-betweens – bring it! Categories and prizes are set up to show love to all types of vehicles. Wyatt insisted there should be more than cars at the show so everyone can find something fun. We have so much fun planned this year! A variety of carnival games and kids’ activities will be available (including a toddler’s area). Plus, we are thrilled to have a showing of “The Lost Treasure of Jessie James” in the park, starting at dusk. There are lots of other surprises we can’t wait to share – follow the Wyatt's Warriors Cruise & Carnival 2021 event page on Facebook so you don’t miss any of the fun! Come hungry and bring the whole family! Enjoy food trucks from generous vendors who have agreed to share a percentage of their profits with Super Sam Foundation. Fair food and snacks will also be available. Wyatt’s Warriors grew out of an informal community of people who came together to support our cancer warrior, Wyatt Salmons, as he battled a terminal children’s brain cancer called DIPG. After losing Wyatt at age 12 in April 2020, Wyatt’s family has pledged to keep up the fight against child cancer and preserve Wyatt’s legacy in ways that reflect his personality, character, and spirit. Wyatt’s Warriors is not a foundation or charity on its own; all proceeds from the Wyatt’s Warriors Cruise & Carnival will directly benefit Super Sam Foundation as they work for childhood cancer awareness, advocacy, research and support. Together, we can do more. #forallthekids #becauseWy
