Press release from Seattle Public Schools: July 7, 2021 At the end of school the the 2020-21 school year, all students will need to return the SPS Technology they are using. These will be refurbished and re-imaged over the summer for new check-outs in the fall. Students with Assistive Devices or in Summer SPS Classes Students who have assistive devices may keep them through summer to start school with them again in the fall. What should I bring? The following items will need to be returned after classes are over: Device (Laptop or iPad) All Chargers or Power Cords Laptop Sleeve, iPad Cover For 2nd Graders: iPad Keyboards Hotspot (along with charger, battery and bag) Return Form Return Form You will need to fill out a Return Form to slip inside your device or case as you return the SPS technology. No fines or fees will be applied this year, but the forms will help us quickly identify any repairs or replacements needed before fall. Amharic Device Return Form Chinese Device Return Form English Device Return Form Somali Device Return Form Spanish Device Return Form Vietnamese Device Return Form Options for Returning a SPS Device After the Last Day of School If your student is not attending summer school, we are asking families to please return your students' laptop/iPad/hotspot. You have several options for drop off. Technology Resource Center Return your student device/hotspot to a Technology Resource Center. Find the location of a Technology Resource Center. Please put your students' name inside the laptop/iPad or hot spot so we know who turned in their equipment All school-year Technology Resource Centers will close June 18. New Resource Centers will open July 6 to support summer school. SPS Summer School Location Return your students' device/hotpot to a Summer School location. From July 6 to July 30 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. you can turn in your students' device/hotpot to the main office of one of the schools below. Please put your students' name inside the laptop/iPad or hot spot so we know who turned in their equipment.
