Certified Memory Care Professional (CMCP) Certification This entry level, 3-day training seminar is designed for direct care staff and their leaders who wish to advance their education to the next tier. Upon completion of this 21-hour course, each participant will earn their certification as a Certified memory Care Professional (CMCP.) This certification expires after 2 years and participants will be required to submit for re-certification. This course focuses mainly on Long Term Care, and Licensed Memory Support Communities. After attending this course, participants will be able to: Verbalize in detail every aspect of the special needs, and interventions needed for those living with memory impairment.Develop therapeutic programming that is based upon your clients needs, interests, and abilities so that you can provide the highest quality of life.Demonstrate behavioral expression redirection techniques and interpret the language of behaviors your clients may express throughout their journey.Practice demonstrations in the participatory training course.Class size is limited to promote social distancing. HFA & Social Worker CE's are available upon request.
