NORTH BELLMORE, NY — Now that the students graduated, the administration can get down to business.
At its reorganization meeting, the North Bellmore School District Board of Education re-elected trustees Melissa Cmar-Grote and Nina Lanci and they were sworn in for new terms.
The board kept its officers intact from the last school year, selecting Rosemarie Corless as president and Jo-Ann Erhard as vice president, the school district said.
Additionally, Cmar-Grote and Lanci were chosen as the district's two representatives to the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District Board of Education.
Leyna Malone joined the central office team as executive director of pupil personnel services and special education. Malone previously spent five years as Martin Avenue principal.
