Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age or older· Must be available (while on call) 24 hours a day for "On Call" duration on a rotation. Must reside locally and be able to respond to our shop location in Walnut Creek within one (1) hour of receiving a call to be dispatched to a job while on call outside of normal business hours(Monday - Friday 8am-5pm). Valid driver's license and clean driving record required· Must successfully pass Contra Costa County’s criminal background check. Must successfully pass a drug screen and physical evaluation. Must project a professional appearance, demeanor and communicate effectively.   Ability to drive a pick  up / van with trailer will receive additional pay. Please include comparable experience and/or education in any of the following:  Military, disaster restoration, construction, carpentry/carpenter, drywall, paint, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, mold abatement, water/fire restoration, mechanic, sales, law enforcement / police, firefighting, medical examiner/ death investigator, funeral director, military, EMT, nursing, medical, bloodborne pathogen, hazardous materials, HAZWOPER, HAZMAT Physical Demands: This is a physically demanding position that requires the candidate to be in good physical condition. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use their hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. The employee may also be required to lift or move heavy furniture and objects. The employee is required to perform these duties while wearing full PPE (personal protective equipment) to include full face respirators and while wearing semi-impermeable suits, which requires endurance at high temperatures. In this position, you will be responsible for cleaning up blood and bodily fluids following homicides, suicides, unattended deaths and accidents, as well as performing tear gas remediation, meth lab decontamination, hoarding, and gross filth cleanup. Pay: based off experience and qualifications with bonuses available and or salary position available as well. Full uniform provided to include but not limited to pants, boots, shirts, jackets, coats, hats, etc Positions available are Full Time
