Open Positions in Sonoma County: Foreman – Erosion and Sediment Installation for new Construction Sites Laborer - Erosion and Sediment Installation for new Construction Sites Advanced Stormwater Protection, Inc is a Sonoma County business looking for a Foreman and Labors to provide the installation services needed for all new construction sites. Includes but is not limited to installation of fiber rolls, silt fence, check dams, drop inlet protection and miscellaneous cleanup. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. Some overtime work should be expected for this position. Travel: Travel is expected for this position. A valid California Driver’s License for 3 years and Clean DMV is required. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The functions listed below are a portion of what is required for this position. The job functions will change along with location and may expand at any time. Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on construction projects; perform manual work. Job Requirements: • Valid Class A CA Driver’s License for 3 years and clean DMV record a MUST! • Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in construction work. • Some Knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions. • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule. • Ability to lift 80 pounds or more, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. • Ability to communicate orally and in writing. • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely. • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions. • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. • Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump, sprint or throw an object. • Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm two hands) and multi-limb coordination. • Must be able to quickly move arms and legs. • Excellent stamina is required.
