Sweetwater Landscape Inc is an award winning Landscape and Water Feature Construction Company operating out of Sonoma County. We are the only Master Certified Aquascape Contractor (MCAC) located in the North Bay area and have been creating beautiful waterscapes and landscapes for the past 17 years. Sweetwater Landscape continues to educate ourselves and crew members in the latest advanced Aquascape construction techniques and new products that evolve each year. This is your chance to learn new skills while learning how to maintain and construct amazing Ecosystem Ponds, Pondless Waterfalls and Fountain-scapes. We are expanding our services to include more water feature maintenance and this is your opportunity to grow with us. What current skills do I need or desired for this opportunity? Bring your work ethic, willingness to work hard, ideas, communication skills and great attitude. Water Feature and landscape construction experience not necessary, but a plus if you have some experience. Our team will train you. What Skills can I expect to learn? You will learn from the best and each crew member brings a strength to the job. What will be your strength? We all start somewhere and even our guys that have been with us for 12 plus years perform all the functions to create beautiful waterscapes and landscapes that include: Drainage and Rough Grading; Irrigation installation including the installation of valves, controllers and drip systems, planting including trees; Mulching; Installation of Patios, Walkways, pavers, flagstone and retaining walls. Proper use of hand tools, power tools and light machinery. What does Sweetwater Landscape need from me? Glad you asked? You have a great and happy attitude toward your work and others. You are willing to learn and grow with us. Your communication skills with teammates and clients is strong. You have a good driving record with good transportation. English a must, Bilingual a plus. The rest we can teach you. What’s in it for me? Thanks for asking! Compensation is based on your experience and in our experience we do offer top pay for a landscape tech and water feature tech positions. Compensation starting at $16 to $18 an hour and does include paid holidays and accumulative paid time off after 90 days. As a plus, there is opportunity to make commissions on top of hourly wages on water feature maintenance up-sells (we will teach you how).
