Road Closed In Norwalk, Detour In Place

NORWALK, CT — A detour is in place Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Rowayton Avenue and Woodchuck Lane, according to city officials. In a Facebook post, city officials said around 1:30 p.m. they are inspecting a deterioration of the roadway over the Keelers Brook watercourse. "For the safety of the public and out of an abundance of caution," the post reads, "we have temporality closed this section of road." The detour will remain in place "until further notice" as additional evaluations are conducted. Check back later for updates on this breaking news story.
