Join Naturalist Dorothy Smullen on an outdoor walk to learn about mushrooms.
Led by Dorothy Smullen, Teacher/Naturalist, former president of the New Jersey Mycological Association
This program will start with Dorothy’s collection of fungi fun facts and cultural uses. Then a walk through the woodland trails to look for the diverse groups of mushrooms and fungi. Not only are fungi important as nature's recyclers, they are also essential to the health of our forests and other plant species. Information pages will include fungi groups and the "fool-proof four."
COST: $15 members, $20 nonmembers.
One person per ticket. Ticket sale ends 8/14 at 4:00 PM. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate.
