CONCORD, NH — A $92 million sewage treatment plant was officially dedicated on Tuesday in Portsmouth. According to the New Hampshire Union Leader, the Peirce Island Wastewater Treatment Facility, the biggest construction project in the city's history, is fully operational. It is one of two facilities in the city; the first being built in 1964. Alderman in Nashua, according to WMUR-TV, are considering a six-year, $1.8 million bodycam police contract for its officers. Currently, officers in Hollis, Hudson, and Manchester have bodycams. What's that? According to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, Richpard Wennerberg, 72, of Grantham pleaded guilty to three felony Medicaid fraud charges on Tuesday. While owning Alternative Care @ Home LLC, a personal care services company, he submitted claims for services that were never provided.
