DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Rotary Club of Doylestown recently presented two checks to Doylestown Health totaling $6,000.
Christopher Nardo, past president of the Rotary Club of Doylestown, presented the checks to Jim Brexler, President and CEO, Doylestown Health, and Laura Wortman, Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Doylestown Health Foundation on Monday.
"We are grateful for community partnerships and especially to the Rotary Club of Doylestown and its members who dedicate their time and efforts to supporting our community," Brexler said. "The fact that these donations were made in memory of Bruce Rutherford, a prominent local figure and former member of the Rotary Club of Doylestown, makes these gifts even more meaningful."
The Rotary Club of Doylestown is a volunteer service organization whose members donate theirtime and resources to help others in the community and throughout the world.
The group has 85 members and their next fundraising event will be the Doylestown at Dusk Car Show, scheduled for this Saturday, July 17.
