sorry my man, thats central florida for you. Ive been rocking this scene for 24 yrs, and in all that time, all anyone is concerned with is to get famous, or run a cover band so they dont have to do the daily grind. Its funny because so many people think orlando actually has a "scene". Like new york, or seattle in the 90's, or LA in the 80's. I lived in north GA for 2 yrs and found more people ready to jam than my entire time in central fl. Please dont take this the wrong way, but you'll never find musicians or bands in mt.dora that dont fit that critera. Im in full agreement with you! Its the nature of the beast.
