TRUSSVILLE, AL — A main road in Trussville will see some significant work this year, as Jefferson County plans a road widening project on North Chalkville Road from Boulder Drive to Interstate 59. The project is expected to be complete by 2023, according to the Trussville Tribune. The project includes an additional lane as well as turn lanes added to Green Drive and Pineview Road for left turns onto North Chalkville Road.
