Participants needed for a study of LANGUAGE IN THE (AGING) BRAIN
Research Question: Where in the brain do word-finding problems come from?
WHAT: Complete a series of computerized tasks in the lab, plus a 20-minute MRI scan
TIME: 3 sessions, approximately 1–2.5 hours long, scheduled at your convenience (up to 6 hours total).
WHERE: Brain & Language Lab and Center for Molecular Imaging, at Georgetown University
EARN $25/hr in the scanner, $10/hr outside the scanner
Participation Criteria
- 30-89 years old
- Right-handed
- Native speaker of US English
- Not fluent in another language
- Normal/corrected hearing and vision
- No history of neurological, learning, or psychiatric disorders, neural injury or concussions, or drug or alcohol dependence
