We are having to rehome their beautiful 6 yr. old border collie because we are having a baby at the end of the month. Ember is a spayed, female red and white border collie. This dog is for an experienced border collie owner that understands the breed, and is in a child-free home. She loves the few adults she has come to know and has never been allowed to be around children since she can be situationally aggressive. She likes cats (we have one). She hates small dogs; she is rather indifferent to like-size dogs and will ignore them at dog parks. She loves to swim in the lake to retrieve things, go on walks, and loves car rides! She would do well with an active owner or a farm environment. She is crate trained, potty trained and up to date with her vaccinations. She will come with her crate and other necessities. Her rehoming fee is negotiable; we just want her in a happy home that will help her adjust to her new surroundings. The baby is due soon and we don't want her to go into a humane society facility since she would be fearful and not easily adopted.
