Position Summary: Maintain multiple commercial landscape sites under the guidance of an Operations Manager and/or Crew Lead.  Responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding a business or building. Perform various landscaping/grounds care functions; such as mowing, trimming, pruning and bed care. Working Hours: 40 hours per week with potential for overtime. Working schedule: Irregular (Changes with weather conditions) Job Duties & Responsibilities: Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as; power or riding lawnmower, string trimmer, edger etc. Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes. Remove weeds and dead plants; prune overgrown limbs and leaves. Use leaf blower to clear walkways and pedestrian areas after lawn maintenance Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, or other grounds features. Properly store and handle all equipment, tools, gear, etc. Report all site issues to appropriate supervisor in a timely manner. Qualifications: Minimum 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent educational experience. Previous landscaping and lawn care experience preferred, but not necessary. Can follow directions and be a productive part of a small crew. Knowledge of basic outdoor/lawn equipment. Punctuality and dependability is expected. Must have reliable transportation. Able to work independently Pass background check Ability to lift 50 lbs.
