Help install new panel on my S10

I need a new passenger can corner patched in on my 95 S10. The old one was pretty bad. I have a place and a welder to do it but I discovered that the welder is a hot pile of dogshit and is completely incapable of welding thin gauge steel without blowing through it like tissue paper no matter what I do.
