Drummer Looking to Join/Start Band.

Hey There, I’m a drummer in my late twenties who has been in bands, playing shows, and making records for over a decade. I am most comfortable playing in the styles of funk, rock, R&B, and jazz. I’m reaching a point in my playing where I have the most fun just locking into a good groove, as opposed to showcasing my chops every two bars. I am ideally looking to join an existing band although, I am open to the idea of starting a new band as well. I think the best fit for me would be in a jazz-funk kind of group. I feel that would help me continue progressing my skills on my instrument while also allowing for meaningful expression through improvisation. I’m not opposed to other styles; this is just my first choice. It’s all just time to me. Please send over some examples of your playing whether it is a studio album or even just a few phone videos.
