Anne Sippi Clinic is located in the heart of El Sereno, Los Angeles. For over 40 years we have been treating adults with severe and persistent mental illness. We are seeking an experienced candidate for a Maintenance/Landscaping position within our company. *Only serious applicants who can work Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (including holidays) are encouraged to apply* The successful candidate must present well, act professional and possess integrity. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: . Oversee maintenance of the facility to include plumbing, painting, small repairs, and overall upkeep. . Oversee landscaping detail to include use of lawnmower and weed trimmer. . Monitor both inside and outside of the facility for safety concerns. . Travel to hardware store and repair shops as needed. . Maintain equipment and supplies in a safe and secure manner. . Have a thorough knowledge of program safety and promote a safety conscious working environment. . Run very small project centered groups with clients to model simple landscaping and repair work. . Provide light on-site monitoring, care and supervision to our residents. . Provide crisis intervention and perform emergency procedures as needed. . Perform other duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 1. Minimum 18 years old, with high school diploma or equivalent. 2. Be proficient in general maintenance and landscaping skills with a minimum of 2 years experience. 3. Be without criminal record as verified by fingerprint and criminal background check. 4. Must have a valid California Driver License, and good driving history, as demonstrated by DMV record check. 5. Be in good health and physically, mentally, and occupationally capable of performing duties as verified by health screening, drug screening, and TB test. Job Type: Full-time
