Description

In this fast-paced warehouse job, you’ll lift, lower and slide packages up to 70 lbs. You’ll typically work 5 hour shifts, approximately 25 hours per week in this part-time position Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse. Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Schedule and Job Location: Chatsworth Pay: $15.00 AN HOUR Job Responsibilities: • Pull orders for processing • Load, unload, move, or store items according to delivery or routing documents, or instructions. • Stack and palletize product as needed • Maintain work areas by discarding of packaging materials (boxes, shrink wrap etc) Qualifications: • Good communication skills • Hard worker • Team player • Task oriented • Must know how to follow instructions Skills Required: • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Strong multitasking abilities • Works well under pressure • Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and sit for long periods of time
