Marvel Clinical Research is researching treatment for acne inversa, also known as hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic dermatological condition that causes inflamed, often painful bumps, nodules, and abscesses under the skin; it typically develops where sweat glands are concentrated or in places where skin rubs against skin (ears, back of the neck, underarms, thighs, buttocks, groin). Lesions caused by HS can persist for weeks or months and can cause scarring. If you have been diagnosed with or believe you are suffering from HS, we can help! To qualify, patients must be 18 years or older and have at minimum 5 active (red, inflamed) lesions in two different locations on the body at the time of screening.
