General Labor Job Description: Worker needed to assist with cleaning solar panels at commercial/DG solar power plant. Specific duties will consist of operating NovaSource cleaning system and manual brush to brush and wipe solar modules. Note: Basic training will be provided at start of employment. Cleaning Lead Job Description: Work with a team of 2 operator as they operate solar panel cleaning vehicles, including coordination of the following team activities: - Lifting, carrying, and moving cleaning equipment (50 lbs. maximum) between rows of solar panels, up and down stairs and roof access. - Servicing cleaning vehicles including refilling air and water tanks, driving service equipment and towing and operating scissor lifts. - Monitor daily project work schedule and collect information to track team’s daily progress. - Enforce team compliance with project policies for safety and quality control and helping to prevent or manage incidents as they arise. (Note: Basic training will be provided at start of employment.) General Labor Hourly Rate: $15.35 per hour + travel expenses Cleaning Lead Hourly Rate: $23.23 per hour + travel expenses. Assignment Type: Seasonal assignment repeat assignments at other project sites. ***Day Shift Approximate shift time 7:00am-5:30pm.*** ***Night Shift Approximate shift time 7:00pm-5:30am.*** Skills and requirements: - Basic mechanical skills are required. - Conversational English skills are required. Physical requirements: - Strength and stamina to maintain a rigorous work schedule, requiring physical exertion and frequent lifting. - Standing/moving for extended periods of time. - Kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally to load and unload equipment. - Employee responsible for wearing hard toed boots, safety vest, safety glasses, hard hats and gloves. - Able to pass DOJ screening for access school districts.
