So let me get this straight… Republicans have no interest in coddling or caring for homeless people in America but they want to continue coddling and caring for a nation that has been armed (by the U.S.) and taught to defend itself? Republicans want to take care of other nations before they take care of our own mentally ill and homeless? The same Republican Party that was ok with allowing Syrian’s to be slaughtered wants to protect the Middle East Every other nation involved (Britain, France) left long ago. Why is the U.S. still there? Iraq and Afghanistan were senseless wars that were started under false pretenses by the Bush administration and now ended by Joe Biden. The U.S. shud keep their nose out of the Middle East. The 9/11 attacks occurred BECAUSE the U.S. would not mind its own business. The conflicts in the Middle East have been going on longer than the United States has even been a country. What occurs in the Middle East is none of our business. We have plenty of our own problems to focus on.
