There's a person joining lots of Facebook pet rat groups right now who is looking for rats, who is allowing her dogs to hunt and kill them in her back yard for "fun" Please beware when rehoming rats or other small animals and do lots of research on where they are going. This is not uncommon. There are a lot of awful people. This applies to kittens and puppies too. Please do research before rehoming. Reach out to local shelters to check the 'Do Not Adopt' list to see if your adopter is on it before handing over your pets.
