Long Shadows Vintners is searching for team members to join us for the quickly approaching 2021 harvest! We are looking for enthusiastic, detail oriented individuals with a passion for winemaking. Experience working in a winery or pursuing a wine related degree is a plus but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods of time are all part of the day’s work. We do require that proper safety, winery sanitation, and work policies are followed. It’s important for qualified candidates to be willing to work efficiently for long hours (including weekends), get dirty, and have a good attitude. Teamwork and individual responsibility to the project are key attributes to success. Job duties may include, but are not limited to: • Fruit sorting • Pump overs/ punch downs • Additions to fruit/ juice/ or wine • Fruit/ juice/ wine transfers • Operating crush equipment • Barrel preparation, filling, and emptying. • Sanitation, sanitation, and more sanitation. All interns will be trained on our policies for safety, sanitation, and work conduct.
