Music Engraving / Typesetting / Arranging Send me your music, and I’ll provide professionally engraved/typeset music notation. I can produce for any style or ensemble size, from vocal lead sheets and piano music to full symphony orchestra. Ideally, I’ll work from your handwritten notation or notation from a lesser-quality notation software. However, I can also work from an audio recording to help get your vision “on paper.” All work is billed at $26 an hour, and I’m happy to provide a non-binding estimate* before beginning work. I use Dorico music notation software, today's professional standard, and all delivered work will be provided in PDF format unless otherwise requested. Arranging I can create a high quality, professional arrangement of any piece of music for any group. For example, if you’ve written a great song for your church, let’s get it arranged for the specific instruments and players available in your church’s orchestra! Need some horn lines for your growing band? Let me do it! These projects are billed per project and not hourly, and their cost varies depending on many variables (length, ensemble size, complexity of music, etc…) I use Dorico music notation software, today's professional standard, and all delivered work will be provided in PDF format unless otherwise requested. About Me I am a professional orchestra conductor actively working in the DFW area, so I am acutely aware of how important quality engraving and arranging is for a top-notch performance. I have a masters degree in music, so I promise that you’ll be getting a quality product informed by years of study and experience. *I guarantee that my estimate is accurate to within 20%. For example, if I quote you 10 hours, the most I will bill for is 12 hours, even if it takes me 15 hours. Obviously if your job goes quicker than my estimate, I will reduce your billing accordingly.
