Our company has been established since 1980 and owns and operates multiple hydro-electric power plants in western Massachusetts. We are currently seeking a hardworking, responsible full-time employee who has a minimum of three years of proven mechanical experience. Work includes rehabilitation of turbines, generators, dams and general millwright work. Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components. Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools. Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc. A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines Very good communication and organization skills A problem-solving ability Very good physical strength and stamina Proficient in many areas as the job consists of a multitude of different tasks daily. Must have a valid driver license with a clean driving record. You will be driving a company vehicle and you will be put on our auto insurance. We will ask for a copy of your driving record. No drug / alcohol abusers. Drug testing is random. We are an EOE.
